Fan Encounter From Stratus Signing at Best Buy #1
Tony was kind enough to send in his encounter & photos from yesterday's signing at Best Buy as part of WM Week.
Hey this is Tony from Chicago, IL and I had a blast meeting Trish today-3-31-06 at Best Buy in Lincoln Park. Right after school, I gathered my friends and we head straight to the signing and arrived at about 4pm.
WOW...the line was huge..I mean big...it rapped around Best Buy...there must've been like about 300 people there if not more waiting to get a glipse of these two beautiful women. At about 4:30 or so, a limo arrived and went around the back and it was none other then Trish & Torrie, but they had real heavy security so I couldn't get back there. It was real cold, with heavy winds and to top it off it started to rain! Best Buy kept everyone waiting outside as the divas started to sign at about 4:40 or so. They did not waste anytime to get started.
After 2 & 1/2hours, my buddies and I were frozen solid, because I was just wearing a t-shirt in like 40 degree weather (it looked nice I swear!) but i was melted away when we were brought inside and I witnessed Trish and Torrie. They both were super nice, especially Trish. I kind of felt bad for torrie because the security only let you get one thing autograph and most people were just going to Trish and Torrie was just there with her little nice pup cloe. It was my turn, I froze, stood there and the big security dude was like next! I couldn't believe it, i was star struck, I tripped but caught myself before I got up to the table (sort of embarrasing but Trish didnt notice, Torrie did). Trish was the first one to say a word to me. "So whats your name?" ..I responded..uhh Tony...She then said "Don't be nervous, we won't bite!" lol it was funny, she totally came off a real kind person. It only lasted for like 10 seconds, but she was looking real good as usual..Then she said "You guys here in Chicago are awesome!" I told her thanks and that was that.
I've been to the Candice Michelle, Maria and Victoria signing and the THQ event all held around the Chicago area, and this is probably the most excited I've seen the fans. Trish and Torrie had a stack of roses next to them!
