Albuquerque, NM; Inter-promotional 3-on-3 Diva Match - Trish Stratus, Christy Hemme, and Ashley d. Victoria, Melina, and Torrie Wilson in a six-woman, interpromotional tag team match, with Candace Michelle as Special Referee: This one ran approximately 10 minutes, with only Torrie looking entirely lost during her spots. Solid heat sequences on all three of the faces, with the fans solidly rooting for the Hot Tag in each case. The finish came with Christy pinning Melina while the other four ladies were fighting outside the ring. Quick note: I am a huge mark for Trish Stratus, and her performance in this match helped make it the 2nd best match on the card, behind Cena/Angle. In-ring, her moveset gets a solid response from the crowd. While on the apron, she kept the crowd involved and chanting for Christy and Ashley. In addition, she directed her lesser experienced partners on when to acknowledge the fans before and after the match. Trish is developing into a solid ring general, and I am happy to see that WWE has started to acknowledge her popularity as a wrestler, rather than as a pin-up girl.
