WWE.com: It's a boy! Trish Stratus welcomes son Maximus

It's a boy! Trish Stratus and her husband Ron welcomed their son Maximus into the world today. Stratus announced the big news on her website with a photo tribute to her newborn son.

Maximus (Max for short) was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at a weight of 8 pounds, 3 ounces.

This is the first child for the seven-time WWE Women's Champion, adding to Trish's already eventful year following her induction into the WWE Hall of Fame this past April.

When asked at the WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony if an in-ring career was in the future for Maximus, the first-ever Diva of the Decade replied: "Whatever he or she would like to do, I will support just as I was supported by my family."
