Trish Stratus' latest trading cards are now available in two ways for ardent collectors – in physical form and digitally.
The latest set from Topps – Heritage – features the seven-time WWE Women's Champion in its base set which includes a number of parallels with staggered rarity. The design of the series borrows from the 1986 Topps baseball series, one of the landmark releases of the 1980s.
The set released in retail and hobby stores this past Monday, but on Wednesday came to collectors in a whole new fashion.
Get red parallel in 'WWE SLAM'
Earlier this summer, Topps released its WWE SLAM
app, a card collector platform for the likes of iPhone and Android devices. Much the same way as physical packages, SLAM
lets hobbyists open packs and trade with fellow users to complete sets, along the way introducing limited insert series and special feature cards.
Up until this week, the sets had been exclusively designed for the app, but Heritage marks the first time that a set is available both in physically and in SLAM
With the debut of Heritage on SLAM
comes Trish's first Topps digital trading cards. Two versions are available of the SLAM
card – the standard version and a red parallel.
Packs of SLAM
Heritage cards are available through the app's store for 10,000 coins. Coins can either be purchased through the app or earned by logging into the app on a daily basis.
