Melina: 'I would love for Trish to induct me into the WWE HOF'
On a recent episode of They Made Their Way To The Ring, former WWE Superstar Melina mentioned that if she is inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame one day, she would choose Trish Stratus as the person to induct her.
"I would love for Trish to do it because it ties it all together," Melina said. "She's the one who told me that I reminded her of herself (except for the dark hair), and she's the one who gave me the baton to say, 'Here you go.' She gave me the okay to shine. Even today, in this day and age, with Stratton for Evolution, she's the one that we go up against to affirm we made it – we got our approval from Trish."
For Melina, having Trish induct her would be a full-circle moment in her career.
"Her word means so much, and I respect her for everything that she's done and what she continues to do," she continued. "She's one of the people I watched when I was in wrestling, and then to be able to work with her, that was everything. To close the book on that would be beautiful."
