Trish Stratus presents GLOGA 2012 in support of the Arthritis Society
Once again, Trish Stratus is spreading the yoga love... and awareness for a great cause. Trish and her team at Stratusphere have partnered up with George Brown College to present one of the most buzzed about yoga events in Toronto – GLOGA! As the presenting sponsor, Stratusphere introduces the first ever GLOGA event to Toronto. The glow in the dark yoga session is an upbeat and energetic event that is designed to illuminate not only hundreds of yogis, but awareness surrounding Arthritis. "There are infinite parallels surrounding yoga and its consistent aid in bettering those young or old living with the condition", GLOGA organizers say, which is why they aligned themselves with The Arthritis Society – Canada's principal arthritis heath charity dedicated to providing leadership and funding for research, advocacy and solutions to improve the quality of life for Canadians affected by arthritis.
On Monday October 15, yogis will be ‘flowing in the dark' as Berkeley Church, one of Toronto's most original event venues with its 17-foot stained glass windows, hard wood floor and Victorian inspired architecture is transformed into a funky yoga studio with a live DJ, black lights and glowsticks. The glow in the dark yoga session will be a unique blend of Trish's trademark Stratusphere Yoga, infused with a Jock Yoga flow as Michael DeCorte, one of Toronto's most acclaimed yogis, joins Team Stratusphere to lead this not to be missed class!
Canada's top yoga and wellness brands join Stratus and DeCorte to support this premier event, including Lululemon, Sweat Equity and David's Teas. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample products, purchase raffle tickets and win amazing prizes! Participants will also have a chance to win one of ten Stratusphere Living YogaFitnessKits from Trish Stratus' product line and receive a gift bag at the end of the night valued at $45.
