Trish chosen as spokesperson to launch healthy lifestyle campaign
Healthy and HOT (helping others too) is a campaign that will recognize leaders in York Region who have made difference in the lives of those around them. As someone who leads by example to inspire others to live a healthy lifestyle or to change their lifestyle to a healthier one, Trish was a natural choice to be spokesperson for this campaign. The Healthy and Hot campaign will give people the opportunity to recognize someone in their community who has made a difference in the health and well-being of others.The campaign kicked off Monday with a 10-minute, free yoga workout amid the hundreds of mall walkers courtesy of Jessie and Team Stratusphere. The session was followed by a press conference to announce the launch, lead by committee chairperson Julie Anderson.
"In York Region, we are so lucky. We have so many champions who put extra time and energy into what they do and this helps give others the means to lead a healthier, more active life," Anderson said.
