9/16 SmackDown results: Nostalgia anyone?
Trish made her return to SmackDown for the first time in over 9 years and while that may have seemed long ago, tonight was nostalgia for Trish fans.
First up, Trish walked in on SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long & WWE Diva Aksana in a rather familiar position. A rememorize of Trish & Triple H being caught by Stephanie McMahon in a classic SmackDown moment from 2000.
Shortly thereafter, Trish was seen backstage with Edge trying on her new FitGloves when Christian appeared, whom Trish has some history with, which resulted in her going over to the darkside in 2004. There was also a sighting by the self-proclaimed "Internet Champion" Zack Ryder.
