Fan Encounter from Stratus Signing at 5-Star Comics #1
Yesterday, Deena had the pleasure of meeting Trish at RVD's 5-Star Comics. She sent in her experience to tell you all about it:
I went to meet Trish for the first time tonight at Rob Van Dam's Comic Shop tonight. My sister and I were the first two people to enter the store and we could see her standing in the back taking a picture with a man in a wheelchair. She was wearing her new 'Let's Do It' t-Shirt with light blue jeans tucked into a pair of brown boots. She also had her black arm sling on. When I approached the table, she smiled at me and extended her hand. I shook it and told her that I was a huge fan. She said 'Thank you.' After she signed my photo, I asked her how her shoulder was and she said, 'It's doing o.k., there was no fracture so it's coming along.' She said that it shouldn't be to long before she is back in the ring. Then she laughed and made this up and down 'chicken like' gesture with both of her arms and said, 'I can do this.' I told her that I was enjoying her storyline with Mickie and that I thought she was hysterically funny when she was mocking Mickie on Raw. She laughed and said, 'Yeah, I'm enjoying it.' As I was leaving, I told her that it was a pleasure to meet her and she said, 'Thank you, Deena.' I don't know why, but I was totally nervous when I was speaking with her. I even forgot to introduce my sister. Oops!
It was a great signing. Trish was right on time. She was so nice and very pretty. She looks so much smaller and her face looks a lot thinner in person than it does on TV. She has such beautiful brown eyes and I didn't realize how big they were until meeting her in person. I am very happy that I had the opportunity to meet one of my favorite divas.
