Toronto is flying high today with the Blue Jays soaring into the MLB playoffs after clinching the American League East Division Championship for the first time since 1993.
With a superstar roster that includes MVP candidate Josh Donaldson and mid-season acquisitions Troy Tulowitzki and David Price at the trade deadline, the Jays are set to dominate the playoffs once again. Our own Trish Stratus has been a fan of the Jays for years, and wished the team luck as they sit on the verge of claiming the American League East Division Championship.

"The Jays were truly a special team when I was a teenager, winning back-to-back World Series," Trish said. "It's great to see the guys headed back to the postseason with some hardware already in the bag. This is going to be an incredible experience for a whole new generation of Canadian baseball fans. I'm looking forward to sharing some playoff fever with Max!"
Trish and the Blue Jays share other connections as well. When the Jays unveiled their short-lived silver, blue and black jerseys, Trish was on hand
for the ceremony, and she has also thrown out the ceremonial first pitch at the Rogers Centre.
Most recently, Trish has teamed with 1993 World Series hero Joe Carter. The duo appeared in the Stratusphere Yoga for Men DVD
together, and Trish can often be found participating in Joe's Classic Golf Tournament, benefiting the Children's Aid Foundation.
