Trish joins Joe Carter & friends for a night of celebration and charity
Monday night, Trish Stratus joined personalities from across sports and entertainment for Joe Carter's annual fundraiser at the Rogers Centre ahead of the Joe Carter Classic celebrity golf tournament.
Trish has been a supporter of Carter's event since its inception four years ago. It was at this event that the all-star duo came up with the idea to create Stratusphere Yoga for Men, which was released last year. In the 25 minute video, Carter and Stratus take viewers through an easy to follow workout based on Stratus' signature yoga system which integrates strength training moves into a yoga flow designed specifically for men. The DVD has gotten rave reviews and is available exclusively at Stratusphere Shop and Stratusphere Yoga Studio.
"I say it all the time, yoga bonds people," laughed Trish. "The great thing about this event is every year it gets bigger and it shows the camaraderie of the athletes who want to come out every year and support Joe's event and this great cause."

Celebrities in attendance included PK Subban, Evander Kane, Marshall Faulk, Damon Allen, Marcus Allen, Dr. J Julius Erving and Anthony Anderson. Former Toronto Blue Jay players Devon White and Kelly Gruber were also on hand to cheer on as the current roster shutout the Colorado Rockies 2-0.
"We didn't think it could get bigger," Carter said. "Last year we had guys like Charlie Sheen. But this year the Great One comes down."
The event continued Tuesday on the greens and at the afterparty with current and former professional athletes from all major sports, including Wayne Gretzky.
Proceeds from both the VIP night and golf tournament, go towards supporting the education and development of Canadian youth through the Joe Carter Scholarship Fund and the Joe Carter Family Support Fund. Over the course of its four year history, the Joe Carter Classic has raised in excess of $750,000 for the Children's Aid Foundation.
