The Power of Movement has chosen Trish Stratus' yoga studio to represent the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) as Canadian's flow together in support of the Arthritis Research Foundation’s signature annual event, which takes place nationally from Vancouver to St. John's NL.
On March 3, Stratusphere Yoga Studio will host a day of donation-based classes and join thousands of yoga studios across Canada while raising funds for the Arthritis Research Foundation. The foundation strives to increase awareness for arthritis and related autoimmune diseases, which affects over 4.8 millions Canadians.
Starting at 9:30am. students will get a chance to experience the high caliber instructors and variety of styles that Canada's largest yoga studio has become famous for. The Power of Movement gives new students the perfect chance to get a taste of the yoga studio owned by Trish Stratus, WWE's newest Hall of Fame inductee. Five classes will be offered which participants must pre-register for by signing up here
Stratus hosted the event last year
and decided to get more involved this year by offering Stratusphere Yoga Studio as an additional host with the hopes of increasing the reach of this year's event. After seeing her grandmother experience the debilitating effects of arthritis over the past year, this cause hits home for Stratus.
